One of the founding members of PAINTNC, Kim is also the PAINTNC webmaster and yahoo group moderator. Kim has traveled all over to paint en plein air, but still finds North Carolina to be her favorite place to live and paint. She is the author of the award winning book,'Painting North Carolina: Impressions en Plein Air.'

Inspired by the dynamic interplay of light and color, Karen enjoys painting outdoors, either in sunlit spaces or moody shadows, and approaches each canvas as a new challenge to capture a fleeting experience. Karen is a founding member of PAINTNC and you can see more of her paintings at Hollyhocks Gallery in Pinehurst.

Ann is a founding member of PAINTNC and the Chairperson for the 2010 PAINTNC exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Ann draws her inspiration and palette from nature but enjoys tweaking the colors and turning them up a notch.

Wendy's primary focus is in oil and pastel landscapes and she seeks to capture and translate the beauty of nature into vivid, harmonious images of color on canvas. Also a skilled and successful framer, Wendy has provided complimentary workshops to PAINTNC members about framing their plein air works.

Jane is one of the founding members of PAINTNC and chairperson of the annual kickoff event for the Executive Committee and PAINTNC members.

Jean is a founding member and the treasurer for the PAINTNC organization. Jean finds inspiration in the light and movement of nature and creates beautiful, impressionistic landscapes filled with color. You'll find more of her work at the Cary Gallery of Artists in downtown Cary.

Anne is a founding member of PAINTNC, has been responsible for many of the organization communications. Anne works primarily in watercolor and has exhibited throughout the Triangle area.
