The Beaufort Homes' Tour (Beaufort, NC) invite the Greenville Brustrokes' Plein Air Painters to join them to plein air paint during their annual Beaufort Homes Tour event. The Greenville Brushstrokes' steering committee has extended this invite to all members of PAINTNC to come join the fun as well. Lou will be sending out more information through the yahoo group email as the date gets closer.

Oxford Park is a greenway park in Raleigh - no bathrooms - but close to Jerrys Artarama! Located on Oxford Road, a PDF map of the area will be emailed to members. If you are coming from 440 take Six Forks toward Jerry's. Take a right on Anderson and a left on Oxford. The park is on the right between Overbrook and Hazelwood. The is some open space and a creek. You can park along the street.
The park is very shady; but, don't forget your sunscreen and your bug spray.
Running from the Capitol Building almost to the Progress Energy Center, Fayetteville Street presents a variety of hardscapes and buildings.
The gathering point will be the City Plaza at 400 Fayetteville Street and I will be painting in near there. The weather looks nice so it will be a great day to paint the energy of downtown Raleigh. Join us at whatever time you would like and stay as long as you would like.
Located at the corner of Kildaire Farm Rd and Tryon Rd
This newly renovated shopping center has some great things to paint that are different from our normal landscapes: Stone walls, water fountains, water falls, and interesting architecture. It has a very peaceful and elegant feel to it and overhead walkways that can give a different perspective. It also has lots of shade under the walkways, a public bathroom, a great Italian restaurant or delicious lunch bar at Whole foods.
